I have returned from burying my grandmother in El Salvador. My brother, father, and I made in time to spend 10 minutes with her before she left us.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
I'll be back to updating my blog next week. For the meanwhile, google Joaquin Phoenix. He retired from Hollywood!!

Family Emergency - Update 1
By the time many of you read this I will already be in El Salvador.
Around 2:30 I found out a ticket was being booked for me to leave Friday night to El Salvador. Turns out I'll be back on Tuesday. I've canceled all plans for the weekend, obviously.
Keep us in your prayers. I leave with my brother and my father. Most of all, pray for my father. This is a tough time for him. His mother (my granny) is gravely ill.
God willing, I'll see you all when I return.

Leave Indy Alone!!!!!
LA TIMES: Harrison Ford says George Lucas in 'think mode' on another 'Indiana Jones' film

LA TIMES: 'South Park' vs. Lucas and Spielberg: Too far?
South Park lampooned George Lucas and Steven Spielberg in one of their most outrageous and graphic season premier episodes yet! Paramount maybe hearing from the director duo about the offensive material Matt Stone and Trey Parker put out for the 12th season premier of South Park on Comedy Central.
So what did South Park actually show? Read the story in the above links or watch the episode here. Be warned, South Park is TV-MA for language, dialogue, violence, and sexual material.
A podcast will follow this story as I have more to say about the issue.

"Kung Fu Panda" sequel set for 2011
REPORT: Panda-ing to fans, DreamWorks Animation has officially confirmed that a sequel to its animated hit "Kung Fu Panda" is in the works and has set a release date of June 3, 2011.
The film, which will reunite Jack Black, as kung fu fan Po, Angelina Jolie and other members of the original voice cast, will be released in 3-D -- the new standard for all DreamWorks Animation movies starting next year -- on regular and Imax screens worldwide.
The 2011 date means that "Panda" will be sharing the summer box-office schedule with Disney/Pixar's "Cars 2," which Disney moved last week from a 2012 release to summer 2011.
The original "Panda," which grossed more than $626 million worldwide, is DreamWorks Animation's most successful nonsequel. It will be released on DVD and Blu-ray November 9.
